NLRfamilier

NLRfamilier is a protein family that belongs to the larger group of nucleotide-binding leucine-rich repeat (NLR) proteins. These proteins play a crucial role in the innate immune system of plants and animals, acting as pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) that detect and respond to various pathogens, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi. NLRfamilier proteins are characterized by the presence of nucleotide-binding domains, leucine-rich repeats, and effector domains, which enable them to recognize specific molecular patterns associated with pathogens and trigger immune responses.
