NECdirektiiveillä
NECdirektiiveillä refers to the European Union's directives aimed at reducing national emissions of certain atmospheric pollutants. The primary directive, formally known as Directive 2001/81/EC, and its subsequent revisions, sets emission ceilings for Member States for sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), non-methane volatile organic compounds (NMVOCs), and ammonia (NH3). These ceilings are designed to limit the adverse effects of air pollution on human health and the environment, such as acidification, eutrophication, and ground-level ozone formation.
The directives require Member States to develop and implement national programmes to achieve these emission reduction
