Märgpesurid
Märgpesurid, also known as wet scrubbers, are air pollution control devices used to remove particulate matter and/or gases from industrial exhaust streams. They operate by using a scrubbing liquid, typically water, to trap or react with the pollutants. As the dirty gas enters the scrubber, it comes into contact with the scrubbing liquid. Particulate matter is captured by the liquid droplets or the liquid film. Gaseous pollutants can be removed either by dissolving into the liquid or by reacting with chemicals added to the liquid.
There are several types of märgpesur designs, each with its own advantages. Venturi scrubbers are highly efficient
The scrubbing liquid, once laden with pollutants, is typically treated or disposed of. This may involve settling
