Mzuzu

Mzuzu is a city in northern Malawi. It is the capital of the Northern Region and the administrative center of Mzimba District. The city lies in the northern highlands, near the Viphya Mountains, at an elevation of roughly 1,200 to 1,300 meters above sea level. This elevation gives Mzuzu a cooler climate compared with much of the country, with a marked wet season from November to April.
