Muroms
Muroms are the residents or natives of Murom, a historic town in Vladimir Oblast, Russia, located on the Oka River southeast of Moscow. The term can also refer to the broader cultural identity associated with the town. Murom is one of Russia’s oldest towns; its history is documented from the medieval period and it developed as a regional trade and religious center under the Vladimir-Suzdal realm, later becoming part of the Grand Duchy of Moscow.
