Muovipipetit

Muovipipetit, often translated as plastic straws, are disposable drinking straws made from petroleum-based plastics such as polypropylene or polystyrene. They are a common item found in households, restaurants, and bars worldwide, used to consume beverages. Their widespread use stems from their low production cost and perceived convenience.

Historically, plastic straws became popular due to their durability and flexibility compared to earlier materials like paper.
