Morainic
Morainic refers to material deposited by a glacier. This material, known as till, is unsorted and unstrathesized, meaning it consists of a mixture of clay, silt, sand, gravel, and boulders of various sizes. When glaciers advance, they pick up and transport this debris. As the glacier melts and retreats, it leaves behind the accumulated till. This deposited material forms distinct landforms called moraines.
