Montferland
Montferland is a municipality located in the province of Gelderland, Netherlands. It was established on January 1, 2005, through the amalgamation of the former municipalities of Bergh and 's-Heerenberg. The name "Montferland" is derived from the medieval County of Monte (or Montferrand), which encompassed the area. The municipality's administrative center is located in 's-Heerenberg.
