Monomeerüksusest

Monomeerüksusest is the Estonian term for a monomer unit. In chemistry, a monomer is a molecule that can undergo polymerization, a process where it reacts chemically to form a larger polymer molecule. Monomers are the repeating structural units that make up a polymer. Think of them as the individual building blocks of a long chain. For example, ethylene is a monomer that can be polymerized to form polyethylene, a common plastic.
