Monirengaiset, also known as the Moni people, are an ethnic group primarily residing in the Mon State of Myanmar, as well as in neighboring countries such as Thailand and Bangladesh. They are part of the larger Mon-Khmer ethnic group, which includes the Mon, Arakanese, and other related ethnicities. The Moni language, spoken by the Monirengaiset, belongs to the Austroasiatic language family and is written using the Mon script, which is derived from the Khmer script.
