Mongolit
Mongolit refers to a hypothetical group of people originating from Mongolia. The term itself is not a recognized ethnonym and is likely a neologism or a misinterpretation of existing terms related to Mongolian peoples. Historically, the term "Mongol" refers to a group of Turkic and Tungusic peoples who united under Genghis Khan in the early 13th century, forming the Mongol Empire. Subsequent to this period, the term has been used to broadly encompass various ethnic groups within and around modern-day Mongolia, as well as descendants of the Mongol Empire's population scattered across Asia.
When discussing populations or historical entities, it is more accurate and precise to use established ethnonyms
