Molekulargewicht, often abbreviated as MW, refers to the mass of one mole of a substance. A mole is a unit of measurement in chemistry that represents a specific number of particles, typically atoms or molecules. This number is known as Avogadro's number, approximately 6.022 x 10^23. Therefore, the molecular weight of a compound is the sum of the atomic weights of all the atoms in one molecule of that compound, expressed in grams per mole (g/mol).
Atomic weights are found on the periodic table and represent the average mass of atoms of an
