Miwok
Miwok refers to a group of Indigenous peoples native to Northern and Central California. Historically, Miwok communities inhabited the coast and inland valleys from the San Francisco Bay Area to the Sierra Nevada foothills, including parts of Napa, Sonoma, and surrounding regions.
