Mie

Mie is a prefecture of Japan, located in the Kansai region on the eastern side of the Kii Peninsula. Its capital is Tsu. The prefecture has a varied coastline along Ise Bay to the east and the Pacific Ocean to the south, and includes parts of the Suzuka Mountains. The economy is diverse, with manufacturing, fishing, agriculture, and tourism playing major roles.
