Mellékveseeredet, meaning adrenal origin or arising from the adrenal glands, is a medical term used to describe conditions or substances that originate from or are produced by the adrenal glands. The adrenal glands are small, triangular organs located on top of each kidney. They are part of the endocrine system and produce essential hormones that regulate various bodily functions.

These hormones include corticosteroids like cortisol, which helps regulate metabolism, immune response, and stress; and androgens, which are sex hormones.
