Mealygép

Mealygép is a fictional creature that appears in the speculative biology project Xenotheria. It is described as a large, herbivorous quadruped inhabiting the diverse ecosystems of the planet Xylos. Mealygép are characterized by their thick, segmented bodies, which are covered in a layer of fine, powdery scales that give them their name. These scales are believed to aid in thermoregulation and possibly camouflage among the vegetation they consume.

Physically, Mealygép possess a long, muscular tail used for balance and defense, and a broad head with multiple sets of simple eyes adapted for detecting movement. Their mouths are equipped with specialized grinding plates rather than teeth, designed for processing tough plant matter.
