Maturantin
Maturantin is a term used in some European countries, particularly German-speaking ones, to refer to a female student who is in the final year of secondary school, leading up to the Matura examination. The Matura is a comprehensive examination that signifies the end of secondary education and qualifies students for university admission. A Maturantin is therefore a student on the cusp of higher education or entering the workforce.
The final year, often called the "Maturajahr," is typically characterized by intensive preparation for the Matura.
