Masteryhtälön
Masteryhtälö, often translated as "master equation" in English, is a fundamental concept in the study of stochastic processes and the evolution of probability distributions over time. It describes the rate of change of the probability of a system being in a particular state, as a function of the probabilities of transitioning into and out of that state.
The general form of a master equation involves a sum of terms representing the rates at which
$d P_i(t) / dt = \sum_j (W_{ji} P_j(t) - W_{ij} P_i(t))$
Here, $W_{ij}$ represents the transition rate from state $i$ to state $j$. The first term in the
