Massenzentrums

Massenzentrums is a German term that translates to "center of mass" in English. It refers to the average position of all the mass in a system of bodies. For a single, uniform object, the center of mass is located at its geometric center. However, for systems composed of multiple objects or irregularly shaped objects, the center of mass is a weighted average of the positions of each individual mass component.
