Mandrellike
Mandrellike is an adjective used to describe objects, features, or tools that resemble or function like a mandrel. In manufacturing and engineering, a mandrel is a core or form used to support, shape, or guide material during processing, and to preserve circular cross-sections while the surrounding material is formed, wound, or cured. Therefore, something described as mandrellike typically has a cylindrical, rigid profile and may be hollow or solid, with close tolerances to maintain geometry under processing stresses.
Applications are found in metalworking, tube and wire drawing, fiber winding, and composite fabrication, where mandrellike
