Makrocytäritet
Makrocytäritet refers to the presence of abnormally large red blood cells in the bloodstream. These larger-than-normal erythrocytes are often identified during a complete blood count (CBC) through a measurement called the mean corpuscular volume (MCV). An elevated MCV indicates makrocytäritet.
