Magyarság

Magyarság is a term referring to Hungarian national identity, encompassing the shared language, culture, history, and heritage of the Hungarian people, the Magyars. It can describe both an ethnic sense of belonging to the Magyar community and a civic sense of belonging within Hungary and among Hungarian communities abroad. The concept appears in historical and contemporary discourse as a concise way to speak about what it means to be part of the Hungarian nation.
