Magnetofonid
Magnetofonid, often referred to as tape recorders, were a significant audio recording technology that dominated the market for several decades. The fundamental principle of a magnetofon involved encoding sound onto a magnetic tape. This tape, typically made of plastic coated with a ferromagnetic material, would pass over a recording head. The recording head, an electromagnet, would vary its magnetic field in accordance with the audio signal. As the tape moved, these magnetic variations would be imprinted onto the coating, creating a physical representation of the sound.
For playback, the magnetized tape would again pass over a playback head. This head, also an electromagnet,
Early magnetofonid were analog devices, recording and playing back audio signals in a continuous waveform. Later
