Magnetiseeruda

Magnetiseeruda is a conceptual term that describes the process or state of becoming magnetic. It refers to the phenomenon by which a material acquires magnetic properties, meaning it can attract or repel other magnetic materials or be affected by an external magnetic field. This can occur through various means, such as exposure to a strong magnetic field, the flow of electric current, or inherent properties of the material's atomic structure.

Materials that can be magnetised are typically ferromagnetic, like iron, nickel, and cobalt, or ferrimagnetic materials. In these substances, the magnetic moments of their atoms, which behave like tiny magnets, can align. When this alignment occurs in a significant portion of the material, the substance exhibits macroscopic magnetism. This alignment can be induced and retained, leading to a permanent magnet, or it can be temporary, resulting in a material that is only magnetic in the presence of an external field.

The opposite of magnetiseeruda is demagnetisation, where a material loses its magnetic properties. This can happen through heating above a certain temperature (the Curie temperature), subjecting it to a strong opposing magnetic field, or mechanical shock.
