Løssjordene
Løssjordene is a geographical term used for landscapes in which løssjord, or loess soils, predominate. Loess consists of fine silt particles deposited by wind, typically during glacial and early post-glacial periods. In Løssjordene, thick loess blankets over bedrock or glacial deposits, forming gently rolling to flat terrain.
