Lämpötilakehysten is a Finnish term that translates to "temperature hysteresis" in English. It describes the phenomenon where the response of a system to a change in temperature depends on the direction of the temperature change. In other words, the value of a property at a given temperature is different when the temperature is increasing compared to when it is decreasing. This effect is observed in various physical and chemical systems.
