Látórostokkal
Látórostokkal, often translated as "visual fibers" or "optic fibers," refers to the bundle of nerve fibers that transmit visual information from the retina to the brain. This crucial pathway is primarily composed of the axons of retinal ganglion cells. As these axons exit the back of the eye, they form the optic nerve. The optic nerve then travels through the optic canal and partially decussates at the optic chiasm, meaning that fibers from the nasal (inner) half of each retina cross over to the opposite side of the brain, while fibers from the temporal (outer) half remain on the same side.
After the optic chiasm, the visual information continues along the optic tracts. These tracts carry information
