Lufttæthedsprøvning
Lufttæthedsprøvning, often translated as airtightness testing or blower door testing, is a procedure used to measure the airtightness of a building. This process quantifies how much uncontrolled air leakage occurs through the building envelope, which is the physical separation between the conditioned interior and the unconditioned exterior. The test involves depressurizing or pressurizing the building to a specific pressure difference relative to the outside and measuring the airflow required to maintain that pressure. This airflow rate, when normalized for the size of the building, provides an indication of its airtightness.
The primary goals of lufttæthedsprøvning are to identify sources of air leakage, assess the overall quality
