Luftförvaltningen
Luftförvaltningen was a Swedish government agency responsible for civil aviation matters. It was established in 1947 and was part of the Ministry of Communications. The agency's mandate included the regulation and supervision of air traffic, the development of air transport infrastructure, and the promotion of aviation safety. Luftförvaltningen played a key role in the modernization of Sweden's air travel system, overseeing the expansion of airports and the implementation of new air traffic control technologies.
Over its existence, Luftförvaltningen underwent several organizational changes and mergers. In 1993, it was merged with
