Longdon

Longdon is a village and civil parish in Staffordshire, England. It lies in the northern part of the county, within the Lichfield District, and is a rural community situated to the north-east of Rugeley.

The civil parish covers the settlements of Longdon and its nearby hamlets of Upper Longdon and Longdon Green. The landscape is primarily farmland with hedged fields, woodlands, and a network of lanes used for walking and cycling.

Historically, Longdon has agricultural roots dating to the medieval period and has retained much of its rural character. The parish includes a parish church and several historic farms.
