Llíria
Llíria is a municipality in the Valencian Community, province of Valencia, Spain. It lies in the inland part of the province, about 30 kilometers from the city of Valencia, in a valley framed by surrounding hills. The town has a long history, with evidence of Iberian settlement and, in antiquity, the city known as Edeta, capital of the Edetani people. Under Roman rule it continued as a regional center, and in the Middle Ages it developed within the Christian feudal framework, with a fortified old quarter that remains part of its historic core.
