Livno

Livno is a town and municipality in western Bosnia and Herzegovina, located in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, within Canton 10. The town sits in the Livno Valley along the Bistrica river, near the Dinaric Alps, and acts as an administrative and economic center for the surrounding region.

The local economy is largely based on agriculture and livestock farming, with dairy production historically playing a important role. The area is renowned for Livanjski sir, a traditional hard cheese produced in the surrounding countryside.
