Lipper is a provider of independent fund data, analytics, and research for the global asset management industry. It collects, standardizes, and distributes performance data, risk metrics, and other information on mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and other pooled investments. In addition to data, Lipper offers ratings, benchmarks, classification schemes, and research tools used by asset managers, financial advisers, and regulators.
