Lineaarseid

Lineaarseid is the partitive plural form of the Estonian adjective lineaarne, which corresponds to the English adjective "linear." In Estonian grammar, the partitive plural is used when the described noun is in the partitive case and plural number; such contexts include negation, partial objects, indefinite quantities, and certain verbal constructions. As an adjective, lineaarseid commonly appears in scientific, mathematical and technical language to qualify plural nouns, for example lineaarseid võrrandeid (linear equations), lineaarseid funktsioone (linear functions) or lineaarseid sõltuvusi (linear dependencies).
