Levanta

Levanta is a term that appears in several languages with different functions. In Spanish and Portuguese, levanta is a conjugated form of the verb levantar, meaning to lift, raise, or elevate. As a verb form, its meaning changes with person and mood: it can indicate the present tense, as in "él levanta" (he raises) or "usted levanta" (you raise); and it also serves as an affirmative imperative for informal address, "¡Levanta!" (Get up!/Raise). In Portuguese, "levanta" similarly marks "you raise" or "he/she raises" and can be used as an informal command as well.

Because it is a common verb form, levanta frequently appears in everyday language, instructions, and titles within Spanish- or Portuguese-language contexts. It is not, by itself, a standalone noun in those languages, though it can function within phrases or clauses that convey action involving lifting or elevating.

As a proper noun, Levanta may occur as a name for brands, projects, or fictional characters in some contexts. Such uses are local or specific and not part of a single standardized reference. The term should not be confused with related words such as levant, Levante, or the Levant region, which have different meanings in Romance languages and English.
