Leixlip
Leixlip is a town in north County Kildare, Ireland, located on the River Liffey just west of the border with County Dublin. It is part of the Greater Dublin Area and lies close to Celbridge and Maynooth. The town grew at a crossing of the Liffey and developed through the 18th and 19th centuries as transport and housing expanded. Today Leixlip features a mix of residential neighborhoods, the historic Leixlip Castle, and the Leixlip Spa area along the river, which has long been linked with leisure and spa waters.
