Langanirianism

Langanirianism is a philosophical and scientific framework developed by Christopher Langan, an American self-described genius. At its core is the Cognitive-Theoretic Model of the Universe (CTMU), which Langan describes as a "theory of everything" that explains reality as a self-processing, self-simulating language. The CTMU posits that the universe is a form of artificial intelligence, a "Mind" that generates and processes information.

Central to Langanirianism is the concept of "telic realism," the idea that reality has a purpose or goal. This purpose is inherently linked to the universe's self-awareness and self-creation. Langan argues that consciousness is not a byproduct of physical processes but is fundamental to the structure of reality itself. He introduces principles such as the "Principle of Reality" and the "Principle of Conservation of Information" to support his model.

Langanirianism also touches upon epistemology, proposing that true knowledge is derived from understanding the fundamental nature of reality as described by the CTMU. It suggests that human intelligence is a limited manifestation of this universal "Mind." While Langan has presented his ideas extensively, Langanirianism remains a niche concept within philosophical and scientific discourse, with limited widespread academic engagement or empirical validation.
