Lõpptoimingute

Lõpptoimingute (genitive plural of lõpptoiming) is a term used in Estonian to describe a set of finalizing transactions or adjustments that are performed to close or finalize a process, typically in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial settlements. The concept centers on turning ongoing activities into a final, reconciled state that can be used for reporting and compliance.

In accounting and finance, lõpptoimingud consist of end-of-period actions designed to bring the accounts to a stable closing balance. Common steps include reconciling ledgers, recording accruals and deferrals, applying depreciation and amortization, adjusting provisions, and reclassifying or eliminating intercompany or intra-entity balances.
