Különítható

Különítható is a Hungarian adjective meaning capable of being separated or distinguished. It is used to describe something that can be divided into parts or clearly set apart from other elements. The term is formed from the prefix külön- (separate) and the verb különít, with the suffix -ható/-hető indicating possibility or ability. Both forms, különítható and különíthető, are standard and differ mainly in pronunciation and orthographic preference according to vowel harmony.

In general usage, különítható denotes the property of separability or distinguishability. For example, in everyday language one may say that certain elements can be distinguished from one another: "Ezek a tények különíthetők egymástól." The concept is also used in technical contexts. In linguistics and grammar, a common application is the notion of separable verb prefixes (különíthető igekötők).
