Kõrgsurvevärvimine, also known as high-pressure spraying or airless spraying, is a painting technique that utilizes high-pressure pumps to atomize paint and propel it onto a surface. Unlike conventional spraying methods that rely on compressed air to atomize the paint, high-pressure spraying achieves this atomization through the sheer force of the paint being pushed through a fine nozzle at extreme pressure. This results in a finer mist and a smoother, more consistent finish.

The process involves a high-pressure pump, a hose, a spray gun, and a nozzle. The pump draws paint from a container and pressurizes it to several thousand PSI. This pressurized paint is then forced through a constricted opening in the nozzle, causing it to break into tiny droplets. The resulting spray pattern can be adjusted by selecting different nozzle sizes and fan widths.

Kõrgsurvevärvimine offers several advantages, including faster application times, reduced overspray, and the ability to apply thicker coatings in a single pass. It is particularly effective for large surfaces such as walls, ceilings, and exterior facades. The technique is also suitable for a wide range of coatings, including latex paints, enamels, stains, and some industrial coatings. However, it requires careful control of pressure and technique to avoid runs and sags. Proper equipment maintenance and cleaning are also crucial for optimal performance and longevity.
