It expresses amounts and quantities, and can be used for mathematical and statistical analysis. This type of data is objective and can be expressed on a scale. Examples include height, weight, age, temperature, sales figures, and test scores. Kvantitetsdata can be further categorized into discrete data and continuous data. Discrete data can only take specific, separate values, such as the number of cars in a parking lot or the number of students in a class. Continuous data can take any value within a given range, such as a person's height or the temperature of a room.
