Kurchatovsky

Kurchatovsky is a district located in the southwestern part of Moscow, Russia. It is named after Igor Vasilyevich Kurchatov, a prominent Soviet physicist and the scientific leader of the Soviet nuclear program. The district was officially established in 1991 as part of Moscow’s administrative reorganization.
