Kulcshasíték

Kulcshasíték refers to a type of lock mechanism, specifically a split cylinder or half cylinder lock. This design is characterized by a lock cylinder that can be separated into two independent halves. Each half can be operated by its own key, allowing for distinct access control. This means that two different keys are required to fully operate the lock. One key might engage one half of the cylinder, while a second, separate key would engage the other half. Kulcshasíték systems are often used in situations where multiple parties need to have access to a space, but their access needs to be managed independently. For instance, a building manager might have one key to access a mechanical room, while a maintenance technician has a different key to access the same room. The primary advantage of a kulcshasíték is enhanced security and granular control over who can access a particular lock. It prevents a single keyholder from having complete control when shared access is desired. The mechanism itself is similar to a standard cylinder lock, but the internal workings are divided to accommodate the two separate keyways and tumblers.
