Kudat

Kudat is a town and the administrative centre of Kudat District in the Kudat Division of Sabah, Malaysia. Located on the northwest coast of Sabah, it sits at the northern tip of the island of Borneo and faces the South China Sea. Kudat serves as a local service hub for surrounding rural communities and as a gateway to coastal attractions.

The area is traditionally inhabited by the Rungus people, one of Sabah's Kadazandusun subgroups. Rungus culture is known for distinctive beadwork, woven fabrics, and traditional longhouses.
