Kualanamu
Kualanamu International Airport is the primary international airport serving Medan, the capital of North Sumatra, Indonesia. It is located in Deli Serdang Regency, near the town of Kualanamu, about 37 kilometers northwest of Medan’s city center. The airport was built to replace Polonia International Airport as the city’s main air gateway and opened in 2013. It was designed to handle growing passenger traffic and to support international services.
