Kothon
Kothon is a former city located in ancient Bahrain, situated on the eastern side of the island of Madinat Hamad (previously known as Dilmun). It is regarded as one of the most significant archaeological sites in Bahrain due to the extensive excavated remains of the ancient city. Kothon existed from the 2nd century BC to the 10th century AD, specifically during the Sassanian and Islamic periods.
