Korporácií

Korporácií is a Czech term that translates to "corporations" or "companies" in English. It refers to legal entities that are separate and distinct from their owners. In the Czech Republic, as in many other countries, corporations are established to conduct business activities, generate profits, and are subject to specific legal regulations.

The most common forms of korporácií in the Czech Republic include akciová společnost (joint-stock company) and společnost s ručením omezeným (limited liability company). A joint-stock company is typically characterized by shares that can be publicly traded, while a limited liability company has its ownership divided into units and is not publicly traded. These entities have their own legal personality, meaning they can sue and be sued, own property, and enter into contracts in their own name.
