Koolstofgas

Koolstofgas is a term that can refer to several different substances, most commonly gaseous carbon compounds. One primary meaning is carbon monoxide (CO), a colorless, odorless, and highly toxic gas. It is produced by the incomplete combustion of carbon-containing materials, such as in car engines or faulty furnaces. Carbon monoxide is a significant air pollutant and can cause serious health problems or death by preventing oxygen transport in the blood.

Another interpretation of koolstofgas could be gaseous carbon itself, although carbon typically exists as a solid at standard temperatures and pressures.
