Konvektionsstrom
Konvektionsstrom refers to the movement of fluids, such as liquids or gases, driven by differences in density. These density variations are typically caused by temperature changes. When a portion of a fluid is heated, it expands and becomes less dense than the surrounding cooler fluid. This warmer, less dense fluid then rises. Conversely, cooler, denser fluid sinks to take its place. This continuous cycle of rising warm fluid and sinking cool fluid creates a flow pattern known as a convection current.
Convection currents are a fundamental process in nature and have numerous applications. In Earth's atmosphere, differential
