Konformationsväxling

Konformationsväxling refers to the process by which a molecule changes its three-dimensional shape. Molecules, particularly those with single bonds, are not rigid structures. They can rotate around these single bonds, leading to different spatial arrangements of their atoms. These different arrangements are called conformations. The act of transitioning from one conformation to another is known as konformationsväxling.
